In July 2012, the STEPGROUP completed installation of climatization systems in warehouses B10, B12-13. Climatic equipment provides air temperatures inside warehouses from +14 º C to +16 º C.
The total cooling capacity of the cooling systems was more than 1 MW. Installation of the air-conditioning system included installation of climatic equipment manufactured by leading European companies: CIAT (France), LU-VE (Italy), Climaveneta (Italy), meeting European standards of quality and having a high operational reliability. The installed equipment is environmentally friendly and durable. All the products have Certificates issued by the State Standard of Russia.
The cooling scheme is closed with an intermediate heat carrier. The heat carrier is water with the calculated parameters: by temperature from +5 to +10 º C.
The water cooling machine (chiller) is located in immediate vicinity of the warehouse, and provides chilled water to air coolers. The chiller uses the ozone friendly R410A freon.
Air cooling in the warehouses is provided by the cubic air coolers with axial fans. With this method of air cooling, forced air circulation in the cooled rooms is created by fan coolers.
Additionally, the system provides for operation of the supply-and-exhaust ventilation. The supply unit cools the incoming air in the summer and heats the same volume of fresh air in the winter. Removal of air from the warehouse is provided with the exhaust fan.
Installation conditions:
- Works were carried out on the existing warehouse.
- Installation of a steel pipe with a diameter of 219 mm at a height of 14 meters.
