STEP Group was founded on March 12, 1996. From the very first day of its operations, our enterprise has been acting not only as a supplier of a modern and quality equipment, but it also rendered its clients a number of unique services on equipping objects ‘on a turnkey basis.’

Today, STEP Group takes the lead in the area of complex construction and equipment of trade and public catering outlets, warehouse complexes, refrigerating terminals and industrial objects by furnishing its services throughout the territory of Russia, the CIS countries and neighbouring countries.

The main mission of STEP Group is a professional cooperation with its clients and business partners in business expansion, long-term presence in the market and consolidation of financial standings, as well as entering into new niches and taking new lines of activities.

Within the period from 1996 through 2001, STEP Group was engaged in fitting and servicing retail sales objects of ‘discount’ and ‘supermarket’ formats. We cooperated with many companies in the territory of the former USSR.

Since 2000, with the advent of international retail stores chains to the Russian markets, the line of work with small trade outlets performed by our company was altogether redirected towards design, fitting and servicing of large retailers of a ‘hypermarket’ format. This line of our activities remains to be one of our priorities until the present time.

Simultaneously with the activities on enterprises’ equipment, STEP Group rapidly developed construction and fitting of industrial objects. This line is considered to be of the top priority and the highest technology.

In the mid of the 2000s, Step Group launched a dynamical diversification of its business, and started to invest into high quality equipment manufacture.

In 2006, jointly with LaFortezza S.p.A., Italian racking manufacturer, STEP Group commenced construction of a plant producing racking constructions in Moscow region. Today, not only large and medium format chains are equipped with its product, but also warehouse complexes.
