STEP Group jointly with its French partner WYSS company presents unique equipment for artificial snow making. As opposed to traditional snow-generators and snow cannons, it is capable of reliable work even at air temperatures very high above-zero.

All weather and all-season device WYSS makes artificial snow of a high quality at the environment temperature of up to +40 degrees! At that, it works on ordinary water, and is distinguished with high efficiency and low power consumption.

Monitor and control systems of WYSS device allows for regulation of the following parameters of the produced snow:
• temperature within the scope of from -2 to -12 degrees;
• quality of the snow;
• sizes of the snow granules;
• humidity and other parameters.


Operating principle
All weather and all-season WYSS device has a module structure, and consists of:
• refrigeration system which provides for a negative temperature and relative humidity inside the device;
• an ice-generator responsible for production of dry scaled ice;
• snow injector generating a current of purified air for ice scales to be saturated with oxygen to be then turned into snow;
• a blowing system facilitating to evenly cover any surface with the artificial snow;
• an electronic control group that optimises water and electric power consumption depending on external weather conditions.


As the need may be, WYSS system may be equipped with additional modules for example, a system of special air purification Wyss Air Chiller (WAC) to be used under extreme weather conditions. Otherwise it may be a natural wood panelling in order to create a mountain landscape effects to be placed in parks and mountain slops.
