The total refrigerated volume made up approximately 25000 cubic m. On September 26, 2008, an official opening of Schebekinsky vegetable plant (ShOK), one of the largest in the Eastern Europe enterprises of cycle turnaround on production of products of deep freeze took place in Schebekinsky district of Belgorod region. For this plant, STEP Group performed supply and installation of heat-insulation sandwich panels and doors manufactured by Dagard Company. The total space of production floor area made up 7300 sq. m. Moreover, STEP Group made installation of cascade-type refrigeration set where carbon dioxide is used as a refrigerant in the bottom branch of the cascade, while hydrogen nitrite is applied at the upper branch. The total refrigerating capacity of the installation made up 1.6 Mwatt at various boiling temperatures (from -18?С to -40?С). Hydrogen nitrite circulates in the machine-room zone only, which allows for limiting of its charge with as little as four tons. In order to provide for operating requirements and soil heating, heat utilized by refrigerating aggregates is used.

“STEP” GC and "Children’s Paradise" concluded a contract on supply of equipment by CADDIE (France) for "Children’s Paradise" store chain. In the course of 2008, nine stores of "Children’s Paradise" network in Moscow and Moscow region are to be supplied with shopping trolleys.

STEP Group started to perform supply and installation of racking manufactured by LaFortezza (Italy) for the hypermarkets’ chain "Cash and Carry" METRO in Ukraine. The first object shall be "METRO" hypermarket in the city of Ivano-Frankovsk, Ukraine.
